Here are some of the most iconic Survivor destinations that you can put in your bucket list and are definitely worth visiting.

Fiji

Situated in the picturesque South Pacific, Fiji is home to some of the most scenic beach islands on the planet. With its archipelago composed of over 300 islands, tourists can enjoy its rugged landscapes, palm-lined beaches and coral reefs with clear lagoons.

Journeying northeast of New Zealand’s North Island, you will find yourself enamored with Fiji’s beauty and mystery. It has two major islands, Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, while the majority of its other islands were formed through volcanic activities over a hundred million years ago.

Once in Fiji, travelers can bask in its seemingly endless sunshine and enjoy its famous island-hopping diving activities. One of the most popular is the Blue Lagoon Cruise, offering a choice of three different itineraries through the Yasawa and Mamanuca Islands. Activities such as swimming, snorkeling, picnics on uninhabited islands, fishing; and visiting local villages are just some of the many fun attractions to choose from.

One must not miss the chance to also go diving at Fiji’s fourth largest island, Kadavu – home to the 100-kilometer-long Great Astrolabe Reef which is the fourth largest barrier reef in the world. The majestic barrier reef gives beginners and advanced divers a chance to experience an entirely different underwater world of ocean life. Not up for diving? Travelers can also do snorkeling around the Great Astrolabe Reef while enjoying the tropical climate of the island.

If you’ve already been convinced enough, the best time to visit the Fiji Islands is from late October to early November when it’s not yet peak season and you can enjoy the islands with lesser crowds.

You’ll be first enticed to go to Koror Island, which is Palau’s commercial hub. Well-known for its diving and snorkeling sites, Koror Island is just one of the many islands that offer travelers a memorable underwater experience. Add to this the rich history of Palau’s Spanish, German and Japanese occupation, wherein travelers can visit shipwrecks of World War II cargo ships, seaplanes, and torpedo boats.

The larger Babeldaob Island showcases a beautiful mountain range and sandy beaches found along its coast. You can spend a beautiful day just lounging around the beach and soaking in the sun.

With an endless row of palm trees, the Palau paradise is also home to the Rock Islands, which is home to some of the world’s most exquisite aquatic life of sea turtles and sharks.

The best time to plan an exciting vacation to Palau? Between November and April, when diving is at its best and has incredible visibility.
